EasySiteControl

Headless CMS + API builder

Model your content.
Ship your own APIs.
Keep your database.

EasySiteControl runs your content platform — schemas, records, media, forms, sign-ins — while every record lives in a MongoDB you own. Then it goes further: build custom API endpoints and automations on a visual canvas, no server code.

Your workspace lives at you.easysitecontrol.com — ready in about a minute.

A custom endpoint, as you build it

⚡GET /fn/articles-with-authors

1

Create a workspace

Your team gets its own subdomain and dashboard in about a minute.

2

Attach your MongoDB

Each project connects to a database you supply — Atlas, self-hosted, anywhere.

3

Model and ship

Define schemas, load content, and hand your site real APIs — generated and custom.

Everything a site needs behind it

The database stays yours

Every project connects to a MongoDB you supply and control. Your content never lives in ours — leaving is as simple as pointing your apps at your own database.

Content modelling with teeth

Schemas with typed fields, relations, components and dynamic zones. Required, unique and relation rules are enforced by the server — and unique fields are backed by real indexes.

A records API you don’t have to build

Filter, search, sort, paginate and expand relations over REST, with per-schema generated docs and API keys scoped by permission.

Custom endpoints

Design your own API routes on a visual canvas: query and combine schemas, reshape with JMESPath, guard with conditions, cache, CORS — served at /fn/your-slug.

Automations

The same flows run on triggers: a form submission or record change can write records, call services and send templated email, with every run logged step by step.

Your users, signed in

Auth schemas give your site registration, login, verification and reset out of the box — and endpoints can answer personally, scoped to the caller.

One URL for your site

curl https://you.easysitecontrol.com\
  /api/projects/<id>/fn/articles-with-authors

Two schemas joined, filtered and shaped by the flow — cached, rate-limited, CORS-ready. Your frontend renders it; no glue code in between.

Common questions

Who owns the content?
You do, structurally. Every record, upload and end-user account lives in a MongoDB you supply and control — EasySiteControl stores routing data and encrypted connection details, nothing more. The /privacy page lists every collection on both sides.
What does my website actually talk to?
REST APIs. Each schema gets a generated records API with filtering, sorting, pagination and relation expansion — and you can design custom endpoints that run multi-step flows and return exactly the shape your pages need.
Can I build API logic without writing server code?
Yes. Endpoints and automations are flows: query and combine schemas, reshape data with JMESPath, guard with conditions, call external services and send templated email — assembled on a visual canvas, with a test run and a step-by-step execution log.
How do my site’s visitors sign in?
Auth schemas give a site registration, login, email verification and password reset out of the box. Signed-in visitors can call endpoints that answer personally — a query filtered to the caller returns only their own records.
Which frontend stack does it require?
None in particular. The platform is headless: anything that can call an HTTP API works — Next.js, plain HTML, a mobile app. Public endpoints support CORS and response caching, so pages can call them directly from the browser.
What happens if I leave?
Your database is already yours. Content sits in plain MongoDB collections in the database you attached, so leaving is pointing your applications at that database — there is no export step and nothing to request.
